Anyone using an MI Audio Blue Boy Deluxe? It looks and sounds interesting for a very tweakable TS pedal.

Re: MI Audio Blue Boy Deluxe?

I haven't got the Deluxe, but I do have an original Blue Boy. It's a very versatile and fun pedal to use, and works well with a variety of different types of amps. Nothing revolutionary, very TS oriented, but good at it. At the price, it's a valid TS replacement that offers substantially more control than an original TS.

Its a good petty and you have alot of control to tailor your sound which is always nice (trimmers even OUTSIDE the casing, what a concept lol)

It doesnt really reinvent the wheel though over the ground any other TS type pedal can do, either for the good or bad.

Its everything it says it is would be the best way to put things

Re: MI Audio Blue Boy Deluxe?

Just got my BBD in the mail and I'm VERY impressed, it's much warmer and smoother than my OCD plus MUCH more tweakable. It doesn't have as much gain on tap as the OCD, but it's got plenty. Great pedal, can't wait to a/b it with the Blue Boy Pro.
