Never been a fan of the super-fast shred (Okay, thats not true, I was for a few weeks)... but, I really like his tone in the first two segments for some reason. Anybody knows if he's using any pedals?

I liked tapping bit at the start, but when he started that pull off riff half way through I just wanted to kick him in the balls :laugh2:

Not a fan, but amazing none the less.

Outstanding guitarist. Impressive..some things are very cool imho but I don´t want to play like he´s playing :)

ya know..it's funny..I always used to laugh my ass off when nitro would come on the Ball back in the day..and I also used to laugh at his advertisements in the guitar magazines...cause it would remind me of that video Freight Train...if I only knew then what I know now....

this dude's a little too much on the full throttle speed side for me, but hey, if I could play like that I'd probably be doin' the same thing..heheh...guy's awesome!

I totally agree.. I'm a shredder guitar fan and love 80's music and I still can't listen to this guys playing. Hes not THAT good. His chops are not even in he same neighborhood as Petrucci or Gilbert, he has no vibrato, no feel and the coldest most processed sound I've ever heard.

I mean whats the point of playing hand over hand if all you can do is one lick or trill,, LAME.

He plays very fast and clear on every note, but when it doesn't make you feel anything, it means nothing.It's just fast guitar sound.Not music.

LMAO,, indeed my friend.

Guys like Michael Angelo ruined it for good players and good shredders with taste. This is the type of player you can thank for guitar solos being removed from top 40 tunes in the 90's and today. This is the guy who turned the guitar into a sporting event, not Yngwie. C0CK PUNCH PLEASE.

I don't know if it comes with age? I used to love listening to Yngwie and those kind of fast-players.. I can't anymore...
I find it boring. Altough I can still feel shivers down my spine when I hear his first album... :cool3:

And still I think Yngwie has far more class than this guy...

I'm not talkin about his personality or if he's got a bad taste in clothes or anything...
But I do believe (without asking anyone), that his guitarplaying got far more class than this Batio-guy. But, as I said, even he is too much for me these days.

ztevie i thought u ment as a person because well i've met quite a few people who know him and well they say the only thing more egotistical then his music is his personality.
