Micro Dark Terror humming a lot even with no input

I just received the companion speaker for my Micro Dark terror.
Once I plugged it in, the amplifier started humming like crazy (like a tv).
Even with the guitar volume off, if the gain is up more than 50% the hum gets overwhelmingly loud.

I tried different cables, but no luck.
I also tried with headphones only, still no luck.

The amplifier used to be fine with anoter cabinet just minutes before.

Any idea what's going on?

No it's not. I also tried a new 12ax7.
I'll have to bring it in for repair, the only other thing I could try is another power supply cord, but I don't have one.
