Microphonic Antiquity II deluxe mini hum

Just got a deluxe mini hum antiquity II and it's microphonic. Gee.....just like the old one's. What's up with this pickup. Do I have to pot it? It sounds great but I am very disappointed. That's a lot of money for a microphonic pickup, any suggestions.

Perhaps it's just that the cover needs removed and reseated tighter?

best to call Scott Miller at Duncans and go from there.

Microphonics are good, wax is bad!, if you get the air gaps out of the seating or flat areas the pickup will not squell, and the organic quality will not be socked over from the wax potting.

Just got off the phone with Duncan. They are sending UPS to pick it up and are going to send me a Firebird bridge ant II pup instead.

Wow.......that's what I call service. I will never buy from another pickup company period!!!!

After getting screwed out of about $400 from a so-called custom pickup maker this is so refreshing.

If you want the details and who did it, email me. I will not say it publicly, it's not that I am afraid, believe me, I'm not. I just think it's better that way and the right thing to do.
