Mid booster (EMG SPC) in bright guitar

I have an ash body guitar with Bill Lawrence L500xl. I like this pickup and my sound of my guitar is very bright with lot of highs. But I think it has not enough mids. I don't want to change my pickup. Can EMG SPC or any other mid booster help me?

the spc gives you more mids and less high end. i used to use one and its a nice warm boost

I have one in a modified Ibanez RG321MH. My chosen pickups are EMG-H (neck) and EMG-85X (bridge). The SPC fattens up the Stratty neck pickup sounds in a Nineties Gilmour stylee.
