mid pickup to match ssl-1

i have american strat rosewood neck am going to put ssl-1 in neck need to find mid pickup any ideas want hendrix style clean tone aka little wing in bridge got screaming demon am new to strat scene but love their tone

Why not another a ssl-1? Neck and middle positions do sound different and it doesnt get much more like Hendrix Little wing than ssl-1's

i can do that do i need to make mid rw/rp when ordering or is it known since its mid?

You should specify one to be RWRP. Otherwise neck and middle are actually the same model.

I have 2 SSL-1's in the neck and middle of my G&L Legacy. Great sound, and the middle one isn't RW/RP. I have my guitar sheilded, so I don't get any noise issues, and lovely full notch position tones.

I have a guitar with 2 regular ssl-1's too and I dont have any real noise issues either but if I was ordering new I'm pretty sure I'd go with a RWRP middle.
