All you need to split any humbucker is a SPST on/off switch. Connect the red/white combo to one terminal, and the other terminal to:
ground - to split to the stud coil
pup "hot" - to split to the adj coil.
Since most switches come as DPDT, you can use either of these two diagrams as an example of splitting, or split/series/parallel:

Or, heres a simple way to use a DPDT on/off/onswitch to be able to select either coil:
I did this once with a pair of Stag Mags. The tonal varieties was cool. Its just a matter of whether you want to do the wiring, and have room for the switches.
