Minor Wiring Quandry....

Greetings again,,, I love my Albert Hammond III Strat, & after having it for several weeks, I changed 'his' setup of position 1 is the middle, & pos. 3 is the bridge.... Now I have the usual 2&3 hum-free sounds (as opposed to just 1 hum-free slot], & it's what I belive to be a standard 2-tone setup, BUT what I did lose was his B + N combo in the #4, & the now typical #4 is a rather dull M+N combo... How do one get back to that fab B + N Tele tone, w/o doing the Blender thing that ALL my other guitars have.... I'm certain it's just one wire that needs to move, much as my moving the Bridge & Mid hots did..
I closed it up & didn't remember to get a mugshot, so hopefully I've given you enuff info....

i dont think you can have n+b with a normal 5way with out wiring it m, n+m, n, n+b, b. its easy to do but does leave things in a weird order

This sounds like a job for a super 5 way switch. Pretty sure you'd get all the options you want in the position you want to boot.

The regular 5 way switch is limited unfortunately.

I get around this on my strats usually with a push pull that turns the neck on in any position. I get any pickup combo possible that way without any visual mods or changing the crl 5 way to a super switch.

Yeah,,, especially what Jeremy said, in that if I switched back to the bridge on #3 & the middle on #1, I could get back my B&N,,, and YES, the stock wiring for that model gave me only 1 hum-free position...
Blender pot it'll be....
