Mismatched pups for metal

Hi all, I m currently thinking about replacing the active emgs (81 & 60) in my ESP eclipse ft. They sound a bit to bland and have far to much output for my liking. I was going through soundclips on the net and came across two pickups imparticular that sounded wicked. They are the WCR Icebuckers (sounded epic although quite costly) and the custom/59 SD hybrid. was just wondering who uses either of these pickups and whether their are any alternates? :friday:

the duncan hybrid is always a fav around here for many styles! metal? no problem with a high gain amp
