Re: Mission Amps Turbo Jax

Ask Lew for a truthful answer... the Aurora 30w he had for a few weeks had a low to mid "set" gain, Turbo-jax system installed in the high gain input jack.

Works beautifully on the Aurora 30 watt you loaned me!

I didn't know it was available as an add-on.

Bruce, I'm just waiting until you clone Lew's amp! His tone is great on the recording over in the clips section.

Which amp tone, the little 5 watt tweed Princeton or the 20 watt Deluxe Reverb?
Also, don't forget Lew's skill and great touch, which can make any mediocre amp and guitar sound pretty darn good anyhow.

Re: Mission Amps Turbo Jax

thanks for info - this amp has 2 inputs and sounds like the turbo jax could open one up a bit - very simple amp with great tone and dont want to diminish that ...

This is beautiful. Maybe you can turn your family Thanksgiving dinner into a pay-per-view.

Right.
Go to my website on this page:

http://www.missionamps.com/turbojax.shtml

and you can read about what the Turbo-Jax system is, basically how it works and I won't have to listen to the chatter form the peanut gallery about myself or Lew here.
Another reason I avoid hanging out on forums like this....

Don't take it personally Bruce...please keep dropping in now and then. I LOVE having a real tube amp tech around here for help and advise on real amps!
