Mojave Coyote Question...

Greetings... can anyone tell me if this amp employs NFB? And is there any schematic floating abouts?
Lastly, what did they do to the 'regular' version to come up with the Hi-Gain version of the Coyote?
Thanks all~

i played one a while ago, cool amp for sure. didnt know there were different versions. ive not seen a schematic, but i havent really tried to find one either

The only version differences I've seen was the power attenuation and line out were added. I don't know if there is an NFB. I kind of doubt it. Nothing I can find mentions it. There are no official schematics released that I can find, but there were theoretical schematics made using other amp layouts and based on how the Coyote features worked.

hey Beau,,, my non 'hi-gain' Coyote comes standard with the power attenuation, & the line-out as well....
thnx

If you feel like opening her up, it's not difficult to check, just by looking. If it uses NFB, then one of the output transformers secondary leads, (probably the 8-ohm tap), will have a wire that feeds back into the circuit board, separate from the output jacks. If the transformer secondary's only go the speaker jacks, then no NFB.

By the way, funny that they misspelled their own amp name. Doesn't anyone use proofreaders anymore? :smack:

I can't edit above. The transformer secondary wire will probably go to the output jack, then have a wire from there, back to the circuit board or turret.
