Monteallums mods

Wow.......................finished last night modding my boss bd2 with the H2O mod.......and all i can say....it's an amazing improvement over the stock version......The sound after the mod can easily be considered to be in boutique territory..............and just for a fraction of the cost, plus the enjoyment of DIY......even though i would not say it's something a begginer could handle easily......

Strong tight bass, much more responsive, transparent, and without that fizzy sound of the stock bd2........I strongly advise everyone using this pedal to try it out......Today i'm going to try the opto mod for my boss cs3....

Re: Monteallums mods

yeah i have the h20 mod on my boss pedal too. it does rock. i also have the supra mod on my od3 and the ts9 mod too.

the ts9 mod takes the cake though, that pedal sounds friggin incredible now.

as for the difficulty, i would say beginners can handle the boss mods. those pedals are really easy to mod. the ibanez ones are harder only becuase of the difficulty of getting the old chip out.

How does my old TS-5 sound up against the modded TS-9?
