Mooer effects

Anyone else tried any of these?

Never heard of them before a few weeks back. I picked up their Flex Boost when I got my 335. Its a very nice mini footprint (" wide by maybe 3" long) clean boost type pedal. Troo bypass for Neils ;) Controls for vol, gain, treble and bass. Has a big range of gain and volume, and tone control. I have mine setup to be really transparent and just add a bit of gain for some solos. But you can get the thing to slice and thump or jingle jangle big time if ya want. Mass of gain on tap if ya need it..

I paid $85 smackers for it, and feel I made the right choice over the MXR microamp I was going to get. I love that little MXR, but this does what the MXR does and a whole lot more for just a small bump in price.

I know they have a bunch of other boosts,.drives and modulations too. Def will take another look into their lineup if I need something they make.

Re: Mooer effects

I keep eyeing their tremolo and one of the od's... they seem like an excellent product for the money. Very smooth sounding.

Re: Mooer effects

You overpaid... you can get them new for 44 bucks. That said, I've heard that they're pretty good for being Chinese clones of popular pedals, botique and Boss alike (Flex Boost is a clone of the Xotic RC boost IIRC)

The Chinese pedal market has been catching up pricewise. $79 is the cheapest I'm finding in the USA, $88 is typical.

They were $44 last year with a 50% off coupon.

Unless you're confusing Mooer with Moen? Moen pedals are still under $60.

AFAIC, it was well worth what I paid for it. Ihave not seen them priced what you stated, can you share a link? I might still have time to get some $ back if I can produce some.ad copy or a link.

I did not realize they were chinese knockoffs of existing pedals..the quality is much better than what I have seen from joyo/byang, modtone, etc. The enclosures and switches alone are considerably better.

I'm pretty sure there's still a site where you can get all Mooers for $44 - you do have to use a coupon code though. It may have changed since I last checked, but I'll check when I get home
