The inlay from my Melody Maker fell off yesterday. Couldn't find it to save my life. Not exactly sure when it happened since I let my nephew play it. I just know that when I opened the case later at night, it was gone. Oh well. I'm not even mad, it's fairly common and the guitar is old.
So my question for you guys is if the all parts MOP inlays are any good? I'm looking at these to replace the missing dot.

Has anyone here tried "aging" MOP with coffee? For those who build guitar from scratch (or anyone who knows for that matter), what glue should I use? I do have some hide glue on hand. I might give it a go. I'm still going to call and ask Sam Ash for a quote beforehand.
Many thanks.
