More DC-Drive clip.

Well we added the final thing to it today:)
Used the same drive setting all the way through the clip, at about 1:14 I switch in the extra little thing.
Used a slightly crunchy setting on the pedal, this one I am really proud of, on three different amps it sounded very good today, I got plenty of cool tones out of it, I gave it a notch more gain and gave the input filtering alittle extra as well.

Re: More DC-Drive clip.

Thanks:)
Hehe anyways we got ourselves one more thing done to it, something that gave it a better headroom, the sound is still basicly the same, just more of it...man I need to record this with a tubeamp...grrr
Hehe this one is getting places, it is really a fat and nice drive, can go from mild to alot of fat and throathy od sounds.
:D

Re: More DC-Drive clip.

No tubes in sight, and it sounds even better on a real amp, and for the record, that Marshall DRP-1 I have has been ripped apart a few times now, I have one final thing I want to do to it, but overall it reacts "right" now, I just want more interaction from at this stage, so it is a very nice direct recorder now.
But the overdrive is fat on its own, and it loves both singlecoils and humbuckers.
This a culmination on a few years research, another one is my Plexitone and the upcoming Vox like pedal.
We have tried switchable clip circuits, not enough fun, then we tried a few other things, but this with the switchable cap for the bottomend and mids works good:)
Thanks for taking your time to listen to this.
Means alot.
