New Devils of Belgrade song up on our MySpace page - Discus Lord. Should be the first track in the list.

It's a little faster / more technical than some of the stuff we've put together on record so far, with perhaps a less-proggy arrangement and more comprehensive lead work overall. A very fun song to play when we don't start it too fast for me to get through it - :). I'm not 100% on the mix yet as I feel the rhythm guitars could be a bit bolder and the floor tom resonates WAAAY to long if you're listening to it on speakers with good bass response, but anyhow...

Oh yeah, and there's a little bit of vocals in there, too.

As always any comments / praise / derision / ego-stroking or tearing down is more than welcome as I am an unapologetic attention whore and eat this stuff up like it's my birthday meal.

I believe the proper phrase for this track is "Effing hails!" Very tight, nice mix, and your drummer is an absolute monster. What do you feed that guy?!?

Great stuff !!!!!!!!!! Fantastic. Very and very original and very melodic, which is very hard to do these days. I didn't even care that I was listening ot line6. I will kidnap your drummer, its just a matter of time, he is worth the federal charges of interstate abduction.

Wow - thank you guys. You make me feel pretty good about posting clips around here.

The PODxt is a powerful tool but it definitely takes a lot of tweaking to get the best results out of it. It still doesn't sound as good as a mic'd amp in a good room, but I find it really is the next-best thing and saves me a lot of time when writing songs and recording demos.

We'll start on a full-length record sometime this year and will definitely be going organic for that project, though.

Glad you like the vocals. This was sort of a trial run to make sure it sounds cool - we'll be working in more and more into the music as time goes on but will probably never have anything people would call a "lead singer." I think we prefer it that way.
