Anybody here have experience with this pedal? I have read a lot of glowing reviews, but the sound clips I listened to sound artificial not amp-like at all. Then again, it's You Tube...

I plugged into one at a guitar shop back around 1998 or so.
I remember the ad hype claiming it sounded like a tube amp. Maybe on clean settings. I don't recall what it sounded like clean. I do recall the overdrive definitely sounded like a solid state distortion pedal, not a tube amp.
