Now I believe the Ernie Ball goes off a concentric knob with a thread dialing the movement of the volume pedal..right?

When I look at the ernie ball pedal..it looks so cheap

gc has the steve vai volume pedals for 69..which seems like asteal..

dave from saves the day..one of my favorite bands uses it for the beginning of a song called nightingale and ive been curious to buy one and play with it.

any users here?? pros and cons?

also i might get a nano small stone pedal from eh. if I get the steve vai pedal

Re: Morley Little Alligator vs Ernie Ball volume pedal.

go with the EB, its an amazing pedal

I havent tried the Morley, but the EB is just SICK

Re: Morley Little Alligator vs Ernie Ball volume pedal.

I don't have the Alligator, but I do have a Morley volume pedal. Maybe it is my imagination, but I really don't use it any more because of tone suckage.

The EB volume pedals are indestructable. Very smooth operation too. You cannot go wrong with them.

Re: Morley Little Alligator vs Ernie Ball volume pedal.

really?? the steve vai seem better built..what was wrong with the morley??

anyone

Re: Morley Little Alligator vs Ernie Ball volume pedal.

i just replaced my ernie ball with the alligator cause the EB actually broke!?!?! but yeah, sound wise there is no difference as far as im concerned and the minimum volume setting on the morley is nice which makes it a keeper for me. A big part of this decision is where in your fx chain u are planning on putting this pedal. The morley is designed specifically to go at the end of your chain and EB makes versions designed to go at the start or at the end.

Thats my feeling as well. I never tried the Morley, but the EB really is built well and got great reviews so I have that one a try. I still use it everyday and I'm glad I bought it.
