Has anybody tried this analog reverb/overdrive?

How much do you think they cost now?

When and where are they made?

I believe, this was part of the Morley Die Cast line of pedals.

This is kinda interesting since this is the only reverb and overdrive pedal I've ever heard of? Are there any other pedals that are reverb and overdrive too?

Thanks!

There's the Holy Stain by Electro Harmonix too, though I think that may be fuzz rather than overdrive. Definitely has reverb on it though, and tremolo and a really basic pitch shifter too.

yeh i think its a fuzz..

any anybody heard or used a Morley RNV?

Not a fuzz, it's an analog reverb...I just used one at a gig, had it for 25 years...it is pretty close to a Fender tank if you adjust the trim pots a bit. Believe me, the overdrive is nothing you'd ever want to use. I have never seen another one and I use it allatime with tweeds. The digital stuff didn't cut it for me (I have 3 or 4 parked in the closet).

so you just use it for the reverb, how does the OD on this sounds like?

what kind of reverb sounds does it have? plate reverb?

how did you pay your before and how much do you think these costs now?

men. these are really rare pedals.

Re: Morley Rock'n'Verb RNV (Reverb + Overdrive)

Well, they're not all that and a biscuit. They sound OK; a bit of analog noise and hash, but not as much (and different) from a Holy Grail and some other stuff I've tried. I used to haul around an old Fender tank but I got tired of people walking into it on stage, so I tried the Morley (30$ from a pawn shop). With a few tweaks of the trim pots, I can get it to do the Fender tank thing pretty good; a little splashy with a shorter dwell time. The overdrive is not anything I'd ever use. They had a whole line of those pedals in the 80's, but I haven't seen many around.

totally cool. i saw one, and he was selling it for 120usd! maybe because it was rare that is why he is selling at such a price... :disappoin

i saw a vid of these on youtube. sounded good but he was only using it in subtlety. i don't know how it would sound like 100% wet.

do you know what each trimpots do?

Re: Morley Rock'n'Verb RNV (Reverb + Overdrive)

100% wet ?---not good. It's better for a more subtle effect. I haven't opened it up for awhile, but IIRC they probably modify dwell time, highend roll-off, and internal gain. Mine sounds better to me with the tweaks than stock...I would buy another for 120 bucks for a spare...
