I bought the MortalCoil set from Sweetwater and before I open it I was curious what the heck is in the package? Does it have pots and a jack? Am I missing something or is this information very sparse.
I found the wiring diagram. If the plugs to the pickups are the same, getting three voices from two push/pull pots should be easy. Might require some slight modifications to the push pull terminal wiring.
But there IS a way to do it. I'm intrigued. High gain metal, JB, and single coil.
Yeah, I was just going by what all the demo guitars at NAMM had. I suppose you could set it up with all kinds of different setups, really. But yeah, those demo guitars all had 2 push/pulls.
Hate to necro this but it seemed relevant and better than yet another thread for the same topic.
I was considering buying this set for a Kramer Vanguard (Charlie Parra) with an EMG 57/66 set as the 57 in there is SUPER NOISY... I'm assuming if I want to get the all the voices I can just drill a hole and put a mini toggle in there for it.. It just has a single volume and 3 way toggle on the pick guard and there's a ton of room to add a mini toggle for voice switching. Not really interested in adding tone control i'd just leave it cranked anyway..
