Mounting/height adjustment screw question

Hey, everyone. I searched for a while but couldn't find a thread that answered my question.

I'm rebuilding an old strat copy. I bought a SH-1 and SH-14 locally, here, and they came with no mounting hardware. Does anyone know what the correct screw size (SAE standard number-wise) is for the eyelets on the brackets? I'd like to just buy them at a hardware store. If I have to, I can sit there and try to figure out what size is the correct one by trial and error...but I figured that someone here might know.

Oh, and for the record, the screws from my old single coils were way, way too large to be the correct size...the springs from them should work, though.

Yes.

"The thread size is a 3-48 and the length is 1.25"" From Derek Duncan.

Re: Mounting/height adjustment screw question

Thank you very much!

Unfortunately, the hardware store I went to didn't carry SAE 3 screws (apparently the odd SAE numbers aren't very commonly used anymore). 3mm metric fit pretty well but I couldn't find one that was longer than 3/4 inch.

So I ended up going with a size 4 1.25, and I...uh..."shoehorned" it into the eyelit. Anyway, thanks for the answer!
