I purchased a Mouradian JTM 45/50 amp from Jack McCallister at Mouradian Amplification in Spring Hill Florida that is truly out of this world. Jack uses vintage components including real mustard caps, red swirl dual turret custom boards, and your choice of Heyboer, MM, Marstran, or Radio Spares transformers. My custom head has JTM 50 front and back plexi panels, Heyboer JTM 45 PT, MM JTM 50 OT, MM Choke, 2 x GT KT66 HP NOS tubes, 3 x 12AX7 GT Mullard NOS tubes, T.A.D. STR GZ34, the main board is a JTM 45 in design with slight parts value differences (or variances) in order to allow for 6V6, 6L6 (including KT66 & 5881), and EL34 tube types to be interchanged while retaining the best frequency response from each tube type. Mouradian Amplifiers have the 3-D thing going on in spades. You get truly "benchmark" Marshall tones, or in other words the tones of the absolute best collectible Marshall amps. My amp was $1695.00 for the head, and for the price and quality it can't be beat period. I know that George Metropolous of Metropolous Amps charges in the mid 2K or > price range for his versions with vintage components. Jack McCallister is the man when it comes to Marshall designed and constructed amps. Mick Ralphs of Bad Company and Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits have already purchased from Jack.
