Moving the volume knob...

I have a Jackon PC3 that I love everything about (neck, tone, comfort) except for the damn volume knob. It's right next to the bridge pick up (worse than on a strat) and is constantly in the way of my picking hand. It's gotten to the point where I just want to grab the drill and move the damn thing, but the guitar has a really beatiful quilted top that I probably shouldn't be putting holes in. :smack: Add to that I would still have the old hole there... anybody got a solution? :33:

Re: Moving the volume knob...

Replace the tone with a concentric pot, (Volume/tone stacked) and either leave the hole there or plug it with something.

you know what? i actually would have never thought to suggest that. very good idea.

i vote for this option. but where the volume knob was, maybe put a small switch that you could use to split the bridge 'bucker (if you have 4-conductio wiring).
