Mr. Tele - Dr. Funk

Re: Mr. Tele - Dr. Funk

Dude, that's sweet. What are you running that Tele through and what pups are in it? Looks like a Deluxe Tele from the finish. Nice job.

Re: Mr. Tele - Dr. Funk

I'm running the tele through the amp sim of my drum machine. The pickups are Barden and the Tele is some sort of limited Special run which was done for Europe in 2000. It has a nice fretboard and a flame top.

Re: Mr. Tele - Dr. Funk

Mwa ha ha I saw it before it was on the forum.

Youtube subscriber for the win. Er.. everything I wanted to say is there. Cool.

Re: Mr. Tele - Dr. Funk

Hi Timmy,

I tried replying on Youtube, but apparently they're having some problems. I wanted to suggest a couple of site I find usefull in terms of harmony and theory:

http://www.outsideshore.com/primer/primer/

http://jazz-primer.com/

The first one is more theoretical, but very interesting, whilst the second one is more practical and guitar oriented. They're pretty good for being free and on the web.

I never had any formal training, but I would read things like these now and then.

Re: Mr. Tele - Dr. Funk

very cool, mr marin

tasty as ever - right hand economy at its finest

is that an envelop follower in the first tone or was there an unseen wah out of the frame?

Re: Mr. Tele - Dr. Funk

Smooth and nice . . . as usual. ;)

Great links too. Thanks Marin.

btw - Was that some sort of auto-wah? I didn't see your leg moving.
(And no . . . I wasn't watching your legs.) :6:
Its just that my J-Station has an auto-wah that doesn't work nearly that well.

T4D, Artie and Nuno - thanks.

In the first part I used the Boss autowah and then I switched it off in the second part.
