Multi-effect with built-in USB interface? Does it exist?

With all these ultra-modern effects from Fractal, Line6, Boss and all that offering amp and cabinet simulators for on-the-fly recordings, shouldn't effect-makers have thought about building a USB interface into their units? So, you'd just plug the unit into the USB jack of your computer and record with the bundled DAW like Cubase LE or something.

Or are these already available in the market?

The RP and GNX series have had those for years
My GNX pedal was my main recording interface until I got my new Behringer XR18
The GNX will record four simultaneous channels to the included Cakewalk Pro Tracks software
I would usually just run a drum loop , acoustic , and vocal for scratch tracks

I know the Fractal AX8 doesn't do this: the USB is only to save presets & edit presets. I use the SPDIF out to go to my firewire interface.

The Boss GT-100 does, I think all the GT series do, the Digitech RP series do, pretty sure all the latest Line 6 do too. And as mentioned, the Avid Eleven was built to work with Pro Tools, although it can be used live and with other DAWs. You can monitor through these too, they work like a 2X2 interface, the Eleven and some of the Line 6 units have mic inputs too.

Interesting that the Fractal doesn't, it's not like you are getting better A/D conversion by going through a different pipe(?).

If I understand your question right, I'm pretty sure this is standard now. I can confirm the Line6 POD HD500X does this. The unit has a USB jack that goes straight to the computer and in to Audacity, no further interfacing required (besides a driver). Also had a DigiTech RP250 about 10 years ago that did the same.

Axe II will. Helix will. In fact all Line 6 units with a built in USB have a USB interface I believe. The Helix works as an 8 in 8 out.

The Boss GT-100 has an extra feature; when you use it as a USB interface, it supplies two tracks to your DAW. It gives the full blown processed sound of the patch including effects, amp model, and cab sim, but it also gives you a dry track of straight guitar. So if you decide you need to start over and develop a new sound in software, you don't have to play it again, dry. That's a cool, simple little idea. Not sure if the new baby GT-1 does that.

Vox/Korg Tonelab should do. I use mine with S/PDIF out, it has USB, too.

Zoom G5 does it too. It seems pretty standard for most multi-fx units these days.

I used a USB MIDI controller with my Line6 Flextronic for a few years. Could shoot settings and configurations into it. Allowed access to deep parameters like microphone placement and Leslie acceleration. Couldn't put audio into a DAW however.

MIDI doesn't transmit audio, whole different animal. The Flextones (?) didn't have a USB jack did they?

Back to the OP, pretty much anything made in the last 10 years or so will do what you want, including the Yamaha THR amps.
