Multiple amp selector switch advice needed

Hello,

I have a wireless set up for my guitar. I have 4 amps. I would like to be able to select which amp the wireless is going to without breaking the bank. Whirlwind and Voo Doo Labs each make a "A B C D" switch but they are pretty spendy for my need. I am not going to any gig's with this, it is just an ease of use thing.

Any suggestions? Any ideas for making my own (schematics anyone)

Thanks!

Welcome to ground loop hell.

My advise is to NOT go cheap and to NOT make one yourself.

If you want a multi amp rig, you MUST spend real dollars and get a pro unit, or else you're going to run into a lot of hum and ground loop problems. The better units have isolation transformers and more advanced circuitry, allowing them to run without hum.

One cheap unit that might work for you is a unit I just traded to B Bent. It's a Morley ABC box that's pretty good for the money. Just send a PM to B Bent and I'm sure he'll sell or trade it to you. He doesn't need it. And when you talk to him, tell him to send me my Switcheroo!!! LOL
