I don't post much but in dire need of help and /or advice...good or bad, let me have it.
Here's my gear list, keep in mind I don't have fancy equipment just stuff that I've acquired over the years, I am a hoarder of crap!

Orange Dark Terror (with mxr 10 band eq)
Fender Frontman 15g (converted to head only) just recently bought to fiddle with
Genz Benz g-flex 2x12 cab
ART dst-4 preamp
ADA mp1 preamp
I usually play the Orange dt through the Genz Benz with whatever guitar. I enjoy playing rock, blues, metal, with some cleans thrown in. I can't think of anyone that has a perfect tone as i enjoy them all but if I had to narrow it down it would be a mix of: Pepper Keenan, Adam Jones, SRV, Billy Gibbons, Eddie Veliz, Jerry Cantrell and a pile of others!
Nothing ever leaves my man cave and rarely does it get turned up. Just recently I've pondered on selling most everything and starting over.
With this knowledge, here are a few questions:
Should I sell and start over? Or should I modify what I have?
I want to be able to run 2 heads into 1 cab as I enjoy the dual sound. I'm not even sure i understand if I'm currently doing it correctly, I just plug and play using an a/b/y box. Plugging each head into a 8ohm each. If keeping the genz Benz, should I replace speakers with v30's or buy new 2x12 with them already in?
I really enjoy the ART amps but for some reason I can't take them as they will fart out the stock cab and the Genz Benz. When I run the dual head through the genz, it will also fart out. The genz will only sound good with the orange by itself, however I think the orange sounds better through an orange 2x12 when I play it at the local guitar center.
I am really at a standstill...I want a certain sound and know what want to "hear" but can't see myself spending money on a "dream rig" of a rockoverb and/or mesa single/dual recto as it'll never be justified. And on top of that I don't want to be throwing money away at junk...as that is what I feel I've already accomplished!
I'm sorry if I've wasted your time with this but would appreciate any and all help/comments. If anyone is near Tulsa Oklahoma and wants to help out you're more than welcome to come by and help out, lol!?!
