Gents, I'm finally ready to wire up my 5 string bass project, but I am concerned that what I've drawn up may be loading the pots in an undesirable way.
The bass uses a single Music Man pickup (Duncan SMB-5D). The diagram illustrates the following:
I'm pretty certain the drawing does what I want it to, though I am a little curious as to how the capacitor values and loading of the pickups might play together. Series mode could get pretty thick (low B, humbucking pickup in series, and a 250K volume pot) and might require a lot of tone pot gymnastics.
Any help is appreciated. I'm looking forward to getting this project done so I can start playing it!

- a DPDT switch to put the pickup's coils in series or parallel
- individual volume controls for each coil ("neck" volume controls in series mode)
- passive treble and bass cut (not interested in active preamp at this time, and the PTB circuit has treated me well on two guitars)
