musicman axis owners...your thoughts

i've had my eye on the axis supersport with p90s. I was wondering if any of you have 1 or much experience with 1. musicman seems to make really quality guitars... they just dont get all the pub. as other brands.

I was wondering what the neck was like

I think they tend to be beautiful looking and very well crafted guitars. But the neck was to small and skinny on mine: a string through Axis but otherwise identical to the EVH model. Plus, when I compared it to my $180 MIJ Fender Squire Strat (mid 80's model) with a Duncan 59 Trembucker, the Squire blew it away with it's much livlier tone! So I sold it. The Axis sure was a purty guitar tho...
