Musikraft? 1-piece Flame Maple Strat Neck - Floyd, 22 Jumbo, Reverse "Beak" Headstock
Custom One-Piece Flame Maple Neck!
Specs and quality point straight to Musikraft (the only company with a reverse beak headstock and subtle 10" to 12" compound radius). I purchased this from another SD forum member, but I'm preparing for a move and don't have time for the project this was intended for. Although this neck is being sold as "used", it has not had a nut installed and has never been played! It was only fitted to a body briefly.
This is an exceptional neck and you can feel the quality difference when comparing it to a Mighty Mite, etc. Great shape overall with zero fret wear. Excellent fretwork, as well, although you may wish to smooth the fret ends a bit (especially if keeping it in a dry/low-humidity climate). There is a very small split at the end of the heel, next to the truss adjustment, but it is merely superficial and is completely hidden when installed. A previous owner gave it what he called a "Dirty Flame" finish, which darkens the grain to give it a handled and "played in" appearance. The close-ups give the best example of the finish, but the neck appears slightly more dark/aged in person than it does in some of the pictures.
This is a great looking piece that's perfect for your next custom build or EVH-style "Frankie" project. According to the sample build sheet (shown below), this would be a $260 neck new - don't miss out!
Here are the specs:
