One channel was the Distortion + and let me tell you, STRATDELUXER97 tells the truth, it's fuzzy and grainy and kills any dynamics you had in your setup. I can't imagine it working well as a boost, you might as well get out a DOD Grunge pedal and save some money in the process.

I used a Dist+ for yearrs and I still have a soft spot for it, but I must concur that it's not the most versatile or pleasant sounding box. But running it through a Fender Champ turned up all the way (with a Morley Power Wah Boost driving it) made me the heaviest guy in my junior high school!
