MXR M-68 Uni-Vibe don't have a mix knob.

Hello out there. I have a mod question about the MRX M-68 Uni-Vibe. I have it's predecessor the UV-1SC which has a MIX knob to bring the dry into the wet. It works beautiful IMO, because you can add in subtle amounts of modulation or go for that "Machine Gun" phasing. On the new M-68 model it has a LEVEL knob. I don't want the damn effect to get louder (That's best suited for an OD or Distortion), or overwhelming color my signal. I would like to know if it's possible to put in a POT in place that mixes the signal in, rather than just make the damn thing louder?
I emailed Dunlop, and they said they don't do custom mods, but they also mentioned it could be done. Can someone please tell me if I can mod this thing. It's to late for me to send it back.

I haven't had any reason not to like my M-68 as it is, but that could come in handy otherwise.

Thanks for the reply. I checked out the blender you recommended. I was hoping to mod the M-68 itself, without having to buy another
pedal for the task.

If you can find any info or video demos on the "Dunlop UV-1 SC," take a peak at the difference between the MIX on the old version as opposed to a LEVEL control.
