I own a Micro Flanger and it's great for Jet-flange type sounds, but I 'm looking for something more subtle. From what I hear the Neo Mistress can do subtle and even sound like a big chorus. Did I hear right?
Funny, I consider the Micro Flanger to be subtle. We all have different standards, I guess.
I've not tried either of those pedals, but I did just get a Strymon Orbit that can do practically any flange tone you want, from subtle to pronounced thanks to the mix knob.

Thanks for mentioning this unique advantage of Micro Flanger.. I have never used it but now seriously thinking of purchasing it. Thanks again+1 That's the main reason I just sold my Neo Mistress on Flea Bay, it seemed to just dominate the dry signal as opposed to blend with it like the Micro Flanger does IMO.
I personally prefer the Micro Flanger to the Neo Mistress but YMMV. One cool thing about the Neo Mistress was the Manual Filter Matrix Mode which basically freezes the sweep of the Flange for the first quarter turn on the Rate Knob (a small star on the left hand side of the Rate Knob marks where the end of that mode is and where the begininng of the regular Flanging mode starts). As you adjust the Rate Knob slowly the LED Light will flicker between Red, Orange, Yellow, and Green which visually tells you how fast the sweep is moving while in Manual Filter Matrix Mode. Once you find the sound you like just leave the rate knob at that sweep. There are some funky sounds you can get with the Neo no question. As for chorus I find the Micro Flanger pulls that off better than the Mistress IMO.
