mxr smartgate question

In the box was what looks like a rubber knob? is that what it is. Great pedal.

their was a rubber knob Im pretty sure, and it was in the box, ya I have know clue. I will post a picture of it tonight..

It's meant to go over the knob on the pedal to make it easy to adjust it with your foot. IIRC all MXR pedals with the Phase 90 knob have one.
