What did he buy?
American Special telecaster. I'm kind of disappointed, but also pleased. Why? He's going to regret purchasing this guitar. I either see a hot rails in his future, or that guitar being sold to me.. I always said he should have bought a tube amp, since he had an Epiphone Les Paul custom that would be an awesome guitar with a pickup swap. the guitar is a great piece of wood, but the pickups are just bland. I think he bought this guitar just because it has 22 frets. It was like a pet peeve, I'd show him a guitar and he'd go: it has 21 frets. I remember i said, dude, you will hardly ever use that 22nd fret. besides, you can just bend up. He said no, he *NEEDED* THAT 22nd fret. I think it should have been an amp. on the bright side, that axe might be in my future. I mean, the guy was looking at LTD guitars for crying out loud. I think he just went for looks and brand names... his amp is a fender frontman 212.
