My brother’s NGD: Gibson LP 50s standard
Got to play my bro’s 50s LP standard goldtop before we went to Maiden last Saturday.

The word that came to my mind was: perfect.
The sucker played perfect. Every note rang out forever. Not one freaking buzzy note, even down low on the low E. Super balanced, beautiful wood and finish. Has the side fret nibs I love (I know some people don't care for 'em). They ditched the stupid auto tuner for real tuners.
I loosely follow the smack about Gibson and have also owned a cheaper LP that I didn’t jive with. But this one gives me serious GAS.
