My favorite bridge pickups are the Full Shred & Custom 5. Will I like the Pegasus?
Hey guys long time no see. I used to be on this forum a lot back in the day but its been a while.
I haven't been experimenting with pickups much lately but I just got a new guitar and I'm looking at some of the new models that have come out while i wasn't watching. I mostly play metal/hard rock but I'm usually not a big fan of high output ceramic magnet pickups, i generally like a more moderate output and an alnico 5 or something in that ballpark. I love the clarity of the Full Shred but i kinda want to try something new. The Pegasus/Sentient set is looking pretty tempting right now, how does the Pegasus compare to the Full Shred or Custom 5 for example? Just looking for some opinions because it's hard for me to judge from youtube videos. Other recommendations are welcome too!
The guitar it will be going in is an ESP LTD BK-600. (I'm really not a Mastodon fan i just love the look and the specs)
