My First SDUGF Clip

Given I've been on the board quite a while, since sometime back on the previous board, thought I better find a clip and post one. Actually my previous computer lacked sound functionality so I never got around to getting stuff up here...

Be nice :flowers1:

The track was a home-studio recording I did with a Filipino band.
Basically it was listen to the song a bit, jam along with a chord sheet, then record the tracks, all in a bit of a hurry. I recorded the rhythm and lead guitar parts...they wanted a sort of 80s / 90s vibe to it hehe.

Here's the solo excerpt. Actually this wasn't intended to be a take, but turned out the sound guy had my track on record in one of the jams through the track before I was supposed to be recording, and the guys decided they liked it (hence, there are a missed note or two and a little bit of off timing)...all good fun though:

Here's the whole song, compressed: http://demosthenes.jnr.googlepages.com/Aliw-128.mp3

There's a bit of noodling around on the outro too, pretty much a few jam takes that the sound guy mix and matched bits of.

Thanks for the nice words guys! :)

Cool. Got a little 80s vibe to it.
Yeah...that's what they were after for that one. They grew up on Journey, Survivor etc. The song is sort of a Filipino version of 'Let Me Entertain You'.
