I got my Quarter Pounds and the Stag Mag in my Genny!
I wish my digital camera didn't suck so bad:
I was a little apprehensive about how these would work in a basswood body. The original pups were ok, but the bridge was tinny and ice-picky. The QP's aren't overpowering at all. They have a full, rich sound that seems to compliment this body great. And, they seem to match up great with the Stag Mag. Ideally, I have to roll the tone back a notch or two for the SM, but don't need any at all for the QP's. I think I'm going to rewire the tone control to only affect the bridge, and hardwire a 500k resistor w/cap for the QP's - a la - "tone on 10".
The QP's are the "tapped" versions, so I also need to add vol & tone push/pulls to tap the QP's and split the SM. That should make for some more interesting combo's. I'll try to post some clips later.
Just gotta ride out one more dadgum storm. :yell:
