my guitars from dry to humid weather

I just moved from pittsburgh to baltimore and my guitars are responding to the humidity in baltimore more than I am.
I opened a case this morning and saw fresh rusts on my OFR and some frets. Strings get dark more quickly, too.

What should I do with this?
Should I get something to decrease the humidity in my apartment? I saw a thing in home depot the other day, or should I leave those little bags in my cases to absorb the moisture?

also, I'd been going to piano n' stuff when I lived in pittsburgh for all my guitar services. Is there a similar music store in the baltimore area? I mean, big and independent, mom n pop kind with nice people ;)

Thanks,

Don't store them in a closed case. Fresh air should be sufficient to keep this at bay.

I would do a one-time solid cleanup, and have the inside of the case directly in the sun for a day or two.
