my JB's installed..FINALLY!

I don't have much time to talk about it right now, but I thought I'd let ya all know that it's finally in..and I got about an hour of dicking around time with it...I lowerd it and BAM, the thing sounds GREAT! not as harsh as the DD, but not as weak as the Demon either..

I dont' have any clips yet..but I will shortly...

GREAT pup...so far I'm totally happy with it..it was just what I've been lookin' for for my ESP

I just put a set of Jazz & JB pickups in a solid body Hamer USA Studio Archtop for a customer...I'm always amazed at how good that set sounds...and how huge the JB sounds! That set sounds great with the coils split too. Lew

I just installed my JB back (tested the Custom) and i get a big smile on my face JB sounds that sweet in my ears.
I'm juts wondering that you lowered the JB. I have mine nearly as high as it can be. If i lower the JB it will sound thin... but I'm still searchig for "the" sweetspot.

Lew, you think the JB sounds huge? As huge as as the Custom??

Personally I have replaced the JB in two guitars with the Rio BBQ and the tone was bigger. Give it a try! :wink:
