My Jeff Loomis bridge pickup won't fit in the pickup ring!

Any suggestions? It's a passive mount pickup, not too sure if that makes a difference. Do I just have to buy a larger sized pickup ring? Or does it mount directly into the guitar cavity?? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks. I just got this pickup and I'm dyin to use it!

And that's what I noticed. Just wanted to double check before I did anything drastic. Think I'll just direct mount it into the guitar

You'll need a trembucker ring - I found out the hard way

(filed down a regular ring, which does house a passive trembucker fine, but not one with covers)

Trembuckers & regular spaced pickups use different rings. Don't direct mount, get the proper ring. You usually get them free if you buy the pickup new, if that's not true in your case P.M. me & I'll send you one...
