My Local store is carrying G&L now!

After a recent falling out with Fender, the local shop i do all of my business in has picked up G&L (and soon ESP also) to take their place...long story and one you can probably already imagine...very "gibsonish" deal here:eek13: .

anyways, i played an ASAT bluesboy for a minute and didn't like it near as much as i thought i would...however i picked up a Legacy and....WOW it was soooooo resonant and beautiful...it was a vintage "2-tone" finish with an aged tint neck with some really nice flaming on the neck. the frets where huge and the radius was a bit different for me but after a few minutes it felt really good...i really dug this guitar alot...i'll probably go buy again in a few days and actually plug it in this time....heheh..."what" your asking, "you never even plugged it in"...nah...never do on the first play, it's like kissing on the first date...i'm a gentleman...

got any other Legacy guys out here...how do you like the necks/frets/radius?

never thought i'd really like a "strat" this much?!:smack: i can see one in my future...it will be too hard not to...going in there all the time and playing it...lol!

G&L's are my favorite US factory guitar ever. I have a Comanche, and the only reason I don't have more G&L's is because I'm a luthier, so I often just make something if I want it. But if I had a lot of disposable income I'd get a few more.

What people don't realize is that you can choose between some different necks (nut width & radius) with most of the G&L's. There are some that have specific neck dimensions, but you can get whatever you want on the Legacy. I promise you can't go wrong with a G&L. Sometimes they're misunderstood, though. Like people try the S-500 thinking those pups are supposed to be like Texas Specials, and they're not. Or they try the ASAT expecting it to be like a P-90 and it's got this fantastic sparkle in the high end that a P-90 doesn't. Anyway, good luck, I'm sure as they get more G&L's in there you'll pee your pants once or twice before settling on one you REALLY like.
