Yes, I know, that is a litter box in the background.

its a 2002 Rosewood McCarty. The tag said that it had Dragon II's installed. Dunno exactly how I feel bout em yet, the bridge Pup sounds vaugely similar to a JB through my POD. Those might be gettin swapped depending on how I like em through my KRANK.

Gonna get some tonepros studs for it, got straplocks installed. She's beautiful, she plays beautifully. You can hit a note, go grab a bite to eat, come back, and she'll still be ringing.

This thing has been a serious threat to my sleep though. I'll stay up halfway through the night playin her. Oh well, just a bit more coffee in the diet...

Awsome, man. It looks really good. Enjoy it, and don't worry about being up all night playing... it's the weekend! You got nothin' better do do than sleep in tomorrow anyway. :D Enjoy.

edit: Oh yeah, the second your fingers start to hurt from all that playing take a break and get us more pics.

It's the modern classic. Don't ever have a lapse of good judgement and sell it.

Great finish color. I like that finish better than the blue you were talking about before. Those rosewood necks are about the best feeling neck ever made.

thats one of the best looking guitars Ive seen - bet she sounds awesome! Where did you find her and cost and what do you like best etc etc and pod clips...

Found her at a place down here called Guitar Showcase. Real nice store, slightly more expensive than guitar center, but much nicer instruments, and not nearly as loud. Much better used selection as well.

Found her for $1995. After tax it was about $2159 and something cents...I went in with $2145 cash. For about 30 seconds or so they were talking like they were gonna send me packing without sellin it to me. So I asked 'em nicely if they could shave a little bit off the top, and they caved.

I mean, comon, 14 bucks short of a 2000+ dollar sale. puleezzzeee :smack: .

Very nice indeed! I'm loving my new McCarty Standard with rosewood neck, so I can empathize with your sleep deprivation.

Nice, love the rosewood McCarties, that's why I have a Goldtop w/ P90s that has an all rosewood neck .... welcome to the club! :fing2:

Thats a sweet McCarty. The Wide Fat PRS Neck is awesome IMO. I used to have a Custom 22.
