My pedal "board." A work in progress... Pics included!

I was going to wait until I had it finished, but I am stalled for a bit. So I thought I would share.

Sorry for the crappy phone pic! :(

Crybaby Classic > Fulltone Fulldrive 2 > Voodoo Lab Tremolo > Boss DD-20

The small Fender pedal is my channel switch.
I SHOULD have a tuner added soon through a trade with a forum brother. :fingersx:

The board is an old guitar case. It is temporary and nothing is attached. I hope to get a legitimate board by Christmas.

So far I am pretty happy with it!:bigok:

Pedals to come w/ likely candidates listed.
Distortion. MI Audio Crunch Box
Chorus. Voodoo Lab Analog Chorus

Channel 2 is pretty limp on the VC50 which necessitates a distortion pedal.
That is about all I have planned for the moment.

Any ideas for a board to accommodate the pedals planned with some room for growth? Any Essentials I am missing out on? I don't like an FX drenched sound, but I do like tasteful use of specific effects.

Hehe, you said limp. The only thing I'd check out is maybe that new BBE Mindbender... it's a 2 in one chorus and vibrato pedal. Looks kinda cool. You can check out a video demo or two of it on youtube, I think.

The Voodoo Lab chorus is a very sweet chorus for the price, not ideal for the 80's Summers type stuff but for a really thick vintage style its fantasic.

I really don't understand your board layout though. The wah for example looks like it would be quite ackward to use since its so far back and you've got to step over the channel switch.

That rats nest of cable is quite a liability as well as its just bound to get under the rocker during a performance and then you won't be able to turn off your wah

With all due respect, if I had the option of that board or simply putting my gear on the floor, I'd go with the floor. Just laying them out would me a much neater and easier to access setup than how it looks.

Yeah I plan to clean up the cables most definitely. It's a totally temporary set-up as well. I really want a board though for transport otherwise the floor would suit me just fine. I just hate having to unhook everything for taking it to and from church a couple of times a week.

I do love some nice Andy Summer's tone, but something more subtle is far more my style.
