I built this guitar because I love P90s on Mahogany. Seymour Duncan JJN dog ear P90 Silencer, chromed brass compensated bridge, Electrosocket, Grover vintage style open gear tuners, Grover strap locks, 500k pots and 0.022 pf capacitor. Screams with articulate tones. IMG_0807.jpg IMG_0808 2.jpg IMG_0806.jpg

Cool guitar. Can you compare the Silencer to any regular P90s you've used?

It's hotter than a vintage and I believe it's not quite as hot as the the hot P90. i believe it's somewhere in between. Pretty much sounds like Seymour Duncans P90s just quiet. (no hum)

sweet! which models have you tried? just the jjn or others?

Personally just the JJN for now. I did however replaced Phat Cats for the Phat Cat Silencers in my friend's Gibson Les Paul Special. The Special that came with humbuckers. They sounded excellent void the hum.

Great looking build. I did one too, same model, but sold it recently. Had to for reasons. I like the natural finish.
