My SD Invader is on life support and needs help.

I bought my SD Invader almost a year ago for $50 bucks, used. It has been screwed since hour 1. In the end.. I didn't have the nerve to return it.. cause I always thought that one day I would try and install it and it would work fine.... Also I didn't wanna run my mouth at the guy, because at this point I was fuming. One day I was hoping just that... didn't work. I got pissed off and ripped the wires out of it.


Now I would like to once again, try and bring it back to life. There is absolutely no wires of any kind in it.

Here is the state it is in right now.

Does anyone have a diagram in how to install the wires back into the pickup? Any help would be awesome and very appreciated

Jesus...I wouldn't touch that, but I'd keep the magnets for something else.

But seriously. I'd cut my losses and sell it as is and use the $ towards a new one.

Or just get it rewound from scratch. It's only value currently IMO is a "core"

not to kick a guy when he's down, but it's probably a better idea to post and ask for help before you lose your temper and rip the lead wires off both coils.

these guys are right; it needs to be completely re-wound, unfortunately.
or you can keep it for parts

Wow.... I loved the Invader I put in my old Gibson Gothic Explorer.

It might be completely fixable. There are several of us in here with the capability but as for who's willing I can speak only for myself. I'm willing to give it a shot.

You can send it to zhang for a rewind or salvage the polepieces and magnet.

you might even be able to find enough of the start & finish wire to solder the leads back on but id say its a long shot
