That's one of my faves from Vai...
...been really impressed myself with the built in presets on the little Zoom G1Xon pedal that I just bought for practice & kicks ..they're all pretty awesome, far more so than I ever expected really. Did'nt think it would be more than a useful practice tool, but it'll do pretty much anything I think. The new Zoom modelling stuff is nuts. Don't know if they're 'super-transparent, let your tone shine through' & all that bull**** haha...but they're excellent at just sounding excellent in a mix..

I mean, we buy the thing of what it can do, not because it's a super boutique thing, LOL.
I use this as a back up if I'm too lazy to go to rehearsal with the full gear.
It wont replace the full gear though, it won't sound the same. But at least, it sounds great

Two Randall heads, two cabinets (4x12, 2x12), a pedalboard (line 6 fm4, dunlop crybaby from hell, boss harmonist, whammy, vox ice 6, mxr phaser EVH, MXR flanger EVH, line 6 echo park
Mipro wireless.

yeah, a lot of people say that Dimebucker is too scooped, too frizzy, too trebly....but IMHO, i think they just got it wrong.
It's warm enough, twangy, and full bodied
