Finally it's done : a '78 tele standard modded with a '59b and a PGn , 4 way tele switch and a split mini switch (the '59b is 4 conductors) , volume and tone , the original bridge is a solid brass one I modded, the body has been refinished

Very nice captain. :14: That paint is almost too perfect...hehe. Damn, that's quite an amp ya got there.:feedback:

Thanks to everyone , you're too kind !

Yes Butnut, I see what you mean ! I will try the 'ageing' process on my new project that should be an Esquire (or a "regular" tele) that I want "old and dirty" as a good tele should be !
About the amp, it's a JTM 45 , the bassman tone with a closed 4x12 cab :D

BTW , the guitar sounds huge for "Texas" blues tunes and the 4 way switch and the splits give several possibilities that I really like.
I was also surprised about the jazzy tones I can get out of it !

I will try to post clips asap

awesome!!!

i love the color...you should finish it out in the gold hardware!?

Thanks Hoss,

The color is almost custom made , it's "German taxi beige" that I cleared to reach the Fender "vintage white"
I't slightly clearer and less yellow but I like it .
The clearcoat is nitrocellulose one.

About the hardware, everything is stock from the heavy used guitar I bought (the former owner made a crappy psychadelic handmade drawing on it). The bridge is not gold color, it's a solid brass one that let the strings ring like bells.
