Having the amp tech that worked on your amp tell you that your amp is the best Vibrolux Reverb he has ever heard:
PRICELESS!!!!!
Not to mention the fact that the amp should be good for another 30 years of use with proper maintenance!!
Wow dudes!!! I got my Lux back yesterday and it freaking smokes!! I knew it was a special amp and had a mojo that I have never been able to get out of any other amp I have owned even before I took it in for a BF and refresher. Now that it is back it is pretty much indescribable how good this amp really sounds.
I am seriously overwhelmed and soooo proud of this amp that someone would once have called a turd upon site of it. Even the day I bought it from the music store with 30 years of dust, dirt, rat turds, roaches, cat hair etc. I knew it had THE vibe. Now after complete restoration it would make even Roy proud!!!
Here's the big kicker. You may add up all the money I spent on this amp and gasp, but truly if you compare what was spent getting this amp to where it is now and compare that price to what even the cheapest boutique amp costs you'll realize that fixing up an old amp is a no brainer and may be a good way for those that don't want to spend 2k on an amp to get into the real deal.
I know I am bragging, but it's just because I feel like a proud father of a new child.   :smokin: :usa1:
